Call Koskowski Automotive in Fulton NY. I picked up a part for my 78 there yesterday. I don’t know what else he might have. 315 593-6310
You could also try Mopar Jack in Watertown, NY 315 783-0540 He has a LOT of old car stuff. Don’t know if he would have rims that will work.

Personally, I would remove the plugs and run some murky oil into the cylinders. Then, I would try to crank the engine by hand. If it turns easily, I would change the oil and run the engine through a portable fuel tank, like the ones used for boats. The tank comes with a fill gauge so you can't go wrong with the amount of fuel.

The fuel tank is attached by two straps. It has markings on the top, and there are also tank cleaning kits, although I haven't used a metal tank in years. There is a hose attached to the tank that carries fuel through a couple of other hoses. To drain the tank, remove the filler hose, loosen the straps, and fill the tank enough to disconnect from the fuel lines. Also, consider the exhaust lines for fumes. Your truck may or may not have a catalytic converter, because while many cars have one, many trucks haven't had one for years.

You can find the plate on the driver's door. Open the door and take a picture of it. This will help you understand the weights, gears, and other important details about the vehicle. Your truck may have a gear ratio of 3.23 or even 2.71, as it was built to carry loads efficiently, but also be fuel efficient. Just make sure you don't try to overtake the snail on the roads, or you'll find yourself in quite a pickle.
I found this as an addition to the wheel quite impressive to me.

Default Christmas wash

My son and I got the truck pushed out and washed 25 years of barn dirt off it.

Man it is exciting to see this thing coming back to life.

Just got the fuel tank back from being cleaned out and repaired (it had a small crack at the top). Got the radiator cleaned and fixed. Still got a long ways to go but making progress.

That thing looks to be in REALLY good shape for its age.

the sending unit is toast, don't waste your time. I would source a new tank too. Fuel vapors are what ignite. Not worth your life.MOPAR had the first eletronic ignition systems back around 74/75 so probably one of the first. Good Luck! Check the front end components' real good too. Ball joints etc.

Default She's alive

Just thought I'd add an update.

Got the fuel tank cleaned out, new pickup,. replaced all rubber lines, new fuel pump and rebuilt the carburetor. She's up and running. Took it for a 1 mile test drive in the neighborhood.

Next is to redo all the brakes.

I would make sure to replace the three rubber brake lines. That vintage mopar front lines were prone to popping under panic braking.

After a lot of effort, it's running well now. Rebuilt the carburetor, rebuilt the entire brake system, radiator repaired, fuel tank flushed and repaired. All new hoses, belts, ignition.

Today was it's maiden trip outside the neighborhood.
