Do the 2008 mygig's have 20 or 30GB harddrives?

 

The one in my 08 T&C is a 30gb

 

Our 2008 Dodge Grand Caravan has 20GB.

 

It should have a 30 gb hard drive but approx. 10 gb are used by the navigation and other software. My understanding is the 2007 MyGig had a 20gb harddrive with about half used.

 

My 2008 Avenger has a 20 gig. But only about 3 gig are used on it. I have 17 gig free.

 

my 08 avenger has 30gb on the REN but only 15 gb available.

HB support told me that they lock the rest so i dont have more storage space than a navigation user.

just another slap in the face...oh well.

 

Just so you guys know, The Australian RER Software update has been posted for download on the first page of this thread..

Also I changed the REN update to 9.111 as it was misposted as 9.110.

 

This may be seem like a odd request, but would anyone have REN version 8.400 available?

I upgraded to 9.004 and now the voice command button behaves strangely. I then went up to 9.111 with no change. It worked flawlessly with 8.400 and I would really like to get that back.

I've searched with no luck. And even sent a request to mygig @ harmanbecker - no reply as of yet (sent yesterday)

 

sorry to ask this again, where can i find the changes for REN version 9.110 and 9.111?

So how much free space do you have? And does the preloaded software (nav, gracenotes) take up a different amount of space on different systems?
