I realize that both trucks are assembled in America, but Toyata's headquarters is located in Toyata, Japan. Dodge's headquarters is in Detroit Michigan. Other than the wages paid to the employees to assemble the Toyata trucks, all the profit from selling a Toyata goes back to Japan. The profit from building and selling a Dodge truck stays in the USA. I have nothing against Toyata trucks,Iwould rather support an America worker AND anAmerican company, not just the person assembling the product.

Wow, this is almost boarderline stupid. However I couldnt stop reading this entire post due to the fact thatit was amusing me to see what you people are saying. You people are bitchin at eachother on what to buy. He was simpley askin what we thought he should get a Dakota ot Toyota. I'm sure since he is comsidering buy a Toyota he doesnt really care where its made, or where the money goes. He just wants a damn truck. I love my 02 Dakota, the style is awesome. I'd probably by another older style dodge before I bought a Toyota, seeing how I like my Dodge. But thats my opinion to use on a forum made for opinions. Again its is all someones OPINION, rip on me if you want. Commander McBragg, use your own opinion and get what you want.
