Default Dual CAI

I replied in intakes and exhaust earlier but was looking for some help ASAP.
I found a Dual CAI with heat shields on the filters for a 2003 4.7 v8 and wondered if anyone has experienced these. Looks pretty cool, just wondered if they work like a CAI is supposed to.
Also, the standard CAI for my truck is a 2 piece....not too impressed with the design. I don't want to spend $200.00 + + on a one piece.
Any thoughts??

heat shield, there no stinking heat shield. see the filters, they sit right over the exhaust manifolds. they will only draw in warm air

Mine is a Chrome Intake, but get the single that goes down to the fender on the passenger side. You will probably not get any more air with duel intake.

And it does have a heat shield. But its on the filters, and pulls air from the center of the filter.

It will be better then stock with less restriction, but it's just going to pull in hot air. Get a single one and mount it as close to the fender and as far away from your engine as you can.

That thing is just an eye sore. It will not pull in any more air. The engine can only pull a certain amount of air, and one tube+filter is good enough for that. If anything, it would be worse since there's no fresh air going into the top of the engine. That's where the hottest air is..
