I'm thinking about getting a dakota to replace my diesel, cause that is getting expensive!!!!

what kind of fuel mileage are you guys gettin with this setup?

its not a 318 its got the 287 4.7L and with mine with summer gas i can get 17-21 depending if its highway or back roads usually in the 18-19 range. thats with 3.92 gears and a 5 speed. looks like a nice truck to me id say go ahead and get it i love mine.

 

really? yours does that good on fuel? thats alot better than i thougt it would get. fuel economy.gov says they get 13/15. how about the price for that year and setup?

 

that looks like a nice truck. and not a bad price a 11k. I was gettin around 18-19mpg with my 99 dak.

never believe what the epa estimates..... let alone the key word what they rate a vehicles fuel economy is "estimate"..

that 02 looks crisp, id ****** it up, give it a little bit of tuning and modification, intake, exhaust, anything you prefer

 

yeap its been down around 15-17 lately with winter gas and i think that my trashed rear had something to do with it to. just got it back tonight so hopoefully i can see a little bit of an increase with the rebuilt rear and synthetic fluid in it now.

No wonder it's so bad on gas, it's a ford lol. My parents expedition gets like 10 mpg. It's got the 5.4 triton... 150 bucks to drive to the city and back easy. My truck does better and it's a beater v6 lol.

 

https://dodgeforum.com/m_1219519/tm.htm this is my truck im thinking of selling it its got a CAI. strait pipe exhuast. window visors on the side and rear windows. 20" rims. good tires. 176,000 miles. and there isnt anything wrong with the engine. 4.7L the interior is very nice and there arnt any tears in teh seats or stains. 2WD i want $6,000 out of it
