Well I wasn't quite looking at wheel hp yet.... but User U said your making in the 400hp range with just bolt ons so im guessing the 318 sholdnt be too far off mybe 20-30hp? anyway this brings me to my next question will a stock rebuilt tranny and stock rear-end hold up? and has anyone done a 727 tranny swap?

The came i want to use, but not that great for street is :
KRC 224B -224/236-536/555 114but i might end up getting:
KRC 220 -220/230-507/507 114

and if i cant use either of those on the road ill settle for:
KRC 210B -210/220-512/512 114

those are just examples, the first one with stock 2.02 heads can get up to 550hp with 10psi, port the heads i might be able to get a few more hp. This is where the serious SCT tuning would have to come in.

the 2nd one makes about 500 with the right combo at 10psi

3rd is a tad bit more stable and streetable, but less hp about 430 it claims, but with some tuning and better parts to combo it with im sure we can get it in the high 400s

who knows, right now its still in the air, first i just want to get my supercharger parts, sct and wideband, talk to some places about porting some stock heads to outflow a set of 2.02 r/t stock if possible without messing them up and then if they can ill figure out which cam ill use ill probably play it safe for now and go with the 3rd or 2nd one, and wait till i can find a new DD and upgrade to a full race cam,

a 727 is the same thing as a 46re the 46re just has 3rd lockup and OD.

a 727 will not lockup 3rd and no OD meaning highway = crap

I just spent 3000$ to have my 46re rebuilt by Phoenix Transmissions to work as a 727 with OD OFF and like a 46re when OD is ON so i can drive it on the highway and have my od gears

with od off, 3rd pulls like no other, i also put in a stage 2 transgo shift kit, and a 2600-2800 stall.

The only thing im waiting to go out next is my rear end, its the only thing i havent replaced yet, once thats done im pretty much driving a brand new drivetrain lol..

The rearends are pretty stout. Mines been through some... sh*t
