CB radio, where could i mount this thing?

Default CB radio, where could i mount this thing?

hey guys im about to order a CB radio for my truck, but before i do im having trouble finding a place to mount it do you guys have any pictures of where you have mounted yours? this is the kit im thinking of buying.. do i need anything else? http://www.rightchannelradios.com/pi...ckage-488.html

cobra is a very good CB... but I would go with a smaller unit myself, smaller unit= more mounting options. You might want to pick up a SWR meter while your at it..so you can tune your antenna..even though they say *pre tuned* its usually not the best.. as standing wave can vary.. your actually tuning to your vehicle... not the radio.
I always preferred under the dash mounting when I was into CB's.. but thats just me.

check out where i put mine. and how i set it up its a ****ty set up, but it works. *thumbs up*

a lot of my friends use them so we talk to each other when we are out and about or off-roading. also most of the police departments and the state troopers here still have cbs in their vehicles and they listen to them, in away its extra security for if you need help.

DuckandDodge he's got the older interior similar to mine.

Heres where I mounted mine. I sacrificed my cup holders, but I usually only drink from bottles in my truck so it's not a problem for me.

I've got an excellent spot for my cb but I don't have my truck right now...Let me look for a pic I think I may have one on my phone.

Sorry man you'll have to wait til tomorrow for my pic lol. But it's on the driver side left side of the steering wheel bottom part of the dash...kind of a pain in the butt if you need the emergency brake but it's fine for me.
