Roll Call !! Post up your pics of your Dakota!!
how hard was it or expensive to do the tailgate handle relocator thing? im thinking of doing that and my tail lights and then getting just a light strip between the tailgate and the roll pan. really interested in the price or dificulty.
I photoshop it but I heard its not hard to do just do some google search.the hardest part in doing one is to cover the big hole
i got a rollpan on mine. install is super easy. you can go with fiberglass or steel. they both cost about the same. mine was 100. as for the shaved tail gate handle, i believe you have to cut the handle out and weld in a plate then repaint.
All these nice trucks make me wish i had the money to make mine really nice. I'm sure i'll get there though. Here's mine as it sits now. Just a regular ol' 02 Dakota SXT 3.9l 5 speed, but i thoroughly enjoy driving it and it gets me around everyday with no problems. I wish it was 4x4, but hey, i'm not complaining.

I'm new to the Dodge Forum but I've had the R/T going on 14 years. It has JBA headers, a powerdyne supercharger and a few exterior additions like a dual scooped hood, runnings boards, billet grill top and bottom and a Leer 700 tonneau cover. Exterior pics to follow when we get some sun here in Reno. It has 59,000 miles.
I finally took some pics of my truck. Hopefully I'll get some pictures of it out in the dirt later this year.

Where did you get em? Im Canadian as well but I can only find those on eBay for a decent price... but the shipping kills the deal.
What made em a pain in the *** to install? Wiring or fitment?
Thanks
wiring and fitment are always a problem with the aftermarket light housings, whether they be tail lights or head lights. It's because it's all jap crap, but we love it! My headlights required extra washers to get the light to fit the body correctly. And my tail lights required modification with a rat tail file in a few places to fit properly.
