Yeah New Jersey is the same way. Can't pump your own gas. It's good for jobs though I guess.

And you guys got it easy paying 2.30 or 2.40. Take a trip up to the Northeast and you'll spend some money on gas. Cheapest around here is about 2.87 most are around 2.89 to 2.95. That's regular btw.

Go into NY and you can add 20 cents on to that.

That sucks, gas prices here have actually dropped by .40 cents over the last 3-4 days which amazed me considering it is memorial weekend. I figured it would have shot up by .30-.50 cents like it did last year

The oil spill shouldn't/hasn't changed prices.

It's 2.48 or something here for E10 87. Right now i'm getting 15.5mpg with the A/C on, E10, and 75 on the highway.

I look at it like this, I stick with big name gas, shell, chevron, murphy, f*** valero, avoid days were the tanks are low, avoid days when they just topped off tanks... no worries...ask the clerks, they'll be able to tell you the best days to buy gas...

I agree. Actually, if you think about it, the remaining companies that drill oil should lower their prices to force BPs hand! With the bill they'll be fronting for this mess, not being able to raise prices cause of competition would be an even bigger slap in the face! Thats just smart competitive buisness... try to drive the competition out while they're down. :P
