Default Dakota Rear Dually Awesome.

I was searching photos of Dakotas on Google.com and noticed a dually gen 2 Dakota. Does anyone here own the Dakota in the photo or has a dually rear axle?

How much does it cost to get a dually axle for a Dodge Dakota?

From what I understand from another topic I read a Dodge ram 8 lug dually can be installed on a Dakota.

Is that true?

You can install any axle on a truck! Look at me... I'm putting a 3/4 ton Ford Dana 44 front axle on my Dakota and a 3/4 ton Full Floating GM 14 Bolt rear axle on it. All you need is the right tools and enough time!

Idea. Stretch the frame on the Dako to be a full quad cab and 8 foot bed, put a cummins and NV6500 in it, and dually-ize it.
