I have an 03 QC dak 4.7 with a 45 trans has anyone put a shift kit in and if so were you happy, I hate the way these slide into gear and would like to firm up the shifts thanks

 

search for sonnax and tmr mod.

 

i thought the tmr mod doesn't work on the 03 and 04

 

only if you have a 3plug pcm.

 

Thanks for the replys, so here is my next question, can I assume that this truck 03 4.7 dakota does not have a separate TCM ?, and if my assumtion is correct then which out of the four plugs is this wire in, i did a search and found info on the procedure on how to do it to a Ram but mine doesn't appear to be the same

you can only do the tmr if you have a 3plug pcm. sonnax you can do is you have a 45rfe trans.

not worth it. might as well swap valve bodys if you are going to go that route. look up, sharadon stage 3 VB.

I'm really pleased with what the sonnax did for me.
