Default Good place to mount offroad lights?

Hi all, my truck build is coming along well! check it out here.

Im trying to figure out where to mount two 100w offroad lights, I dont have a lightbar, rollbar, custom front bumper, nothing. The frontend of my truck is stock. Has anybody saw/done this? Pics would be appreciated!

Well if you wanted a real sloppy look you could always drill into the hood and mount them there. If not then I suggest a bull bar.

I've seen them mounted on the far left and far right if the cowl. Kinda a cool different look

I think a guy around here in the 3G section has a nice custom front im going to emulate...DonkeyPunch...good looking truck.

I'm plannin on actually cutting custom holes out of my grill and forming it around 2 or 4 lights if I get around to it...

Is there enough room behind the grill to mount them?

It'd be 50/50...they would poke out, not like you can get away with, with the Rams. Its still a dream...reality could crush it...but with LEDs coming along so rapidly, i might be able to get a parabolic reflector made and the right lens...could fit in less than an inch! (again, another dream...)

His is a nice lookin' truck. He fab'd it up out of tube's and ran it up to the grill with a flat plate cross member between the two. Can still use the tow hooks as well...
