Default No Reverse Lights

I have a 2002 Dakota with a 5 speed manual and the reverse lights are not working.
I don't believe its the bulbs because i couldn't imagine all of them going bad, and the dome light still works.
I replaced the fuse and that didn't fix it (swapped the one from the cigarette lighter and reverse lights, and the cigerette lighter still works)
Any thoughts on what could fix this.
Thanks
Dan

It could be a bad backup light switch.

You should find an electrical connector on the passenger side rear of the transmission. You could just jump the switch and see if they work.

It's been a couple of weeks, but we got some great weather here in upstate NY, so today i finally crawled under my truck and replaced the back up light switch. Both reverse lights are now working. Thanks for all the input.

Just a heads up. Had bad backup switch in transmission. After replacing switch, light worked for about a month, then started blowing fuse. Traced it to the new backup light switch shorted out to ground.
