Default usually keyed

The plug is usually keyed so you can’t plug the wrong thing in just find the correct plug you should have the wires unless someone cut them off.

Mine's black.

The wire colors are: dark blue with a black tracer on one side and black on the other.

Ok I looked at a friends 2005 with the same motor. I have power to my clutch. His truck doesn't have a plug going to the compressor. Seems its just a valve to allow the freon to flow? If I put a toggle switch onit can I just leave it powered when I'm using the AC. The 05 didn't have nothing inline. Just the clutch power which I have

I wouldn't recommend that. There are pressure switches wired in the system. A low pressure and a high pressure switch I am not sure on a 05 but I think it also needs to engage the e-fan. If you build to much pressure in the system it will blow out the safety plug on the compressor and leak out all your freon.
