Default 2002 Dodge Dakota lift

Hey forum members. I'm new to this forum and I was wondering if I could get some help. I've got an '02 Dakota 3.9 V6 RWD and I want to put a lift on it but I've got no idea where to begin. All I know is that I want a lift around 2 or 3 inches. What's the best way to go about this?

New torsion bar keys with rear add-a-leafs or a body lift from Performance Accessories are about your only choices, unfortunately. The keys and add-a-leafs will give you 1.5-2". The body lift will give you either 2" or 3", depending on which one you buy.

I'll have to look into those. Do you know how much each would cost roughly? That's a nice truck by the way.

Thanks. The body lift goes for about $250-300 and the torsion key/rear block kits are about $125-200.

I have a used torsion bar kit (rear blocks and u-bolts are still brand new) that I can make you a great deal on, if you're interested. Send me a PM if you want more info.

Ebay torsion bar/rear block kit

Performance Accessories 3" Body Lift Performance Accessories 3" Body Lift

Universal Add-A-Leaf kit

These aren't necessarily the best prices or anything, just what I found in a couple of minutes of googling. The used kit I have is identical to the ebay one I listed, except that the blocks are black.

you can do coil spacers. there are a few out there online. u can use dodge ram ones. dont go more than 3 inches on the spacers. and you will need to get new shocks, for the rear i did a shackle, 50 bucks and u have 1-2 inches of lift. you choose cuz there are 2 holes.

Coil spacers are okay to an extent. You do have to watch your balljoint angles though.

I put V8 junkyard coils in my V6 and they picked up the nose a full inch.
