Default Ctm problem

Hello, I am wondering if anyone knows where I could possibly find the bottom 12 pin connector that goes into my CTM/ALARM Module. I have searched high and low for this connector does anyone have any Idea?

I'll suggest a boneyard. Otherwise I think it would dealer only.

Yeah, I have called the dealer they want $117.00 for it. I might have to just bite the bullet on this one.

Why not try the junkyard?

I've had good luck finding odds parts there, cheap. You're better off going to one that you can go through the cars yourself though.

Very good point however, won't I have to find the exact same truck as mine, same factory options or will all the connectors be the same for every truck?

The connectors are not specific to each vehicle. In some years, yes, there was a "base" and "premium" CTM but in later years, no. Specific options don't matter. The trucks wiring harnesses are for the most part generic. That's why some vehicles have connectors with nothing in them.

What year are you looking for? I'm guessing '01 or up since earlier years only had two connectors. 2001 up has a 12 pin connector on the CTM. I show no "base" or "premium" variations for those years.

Look at '01 and up for your connector.

I show only the one style but it could vary between years. If you can compare it to what you have now.
