I have started on my timing chain replacement this morning.
Here are a couple of videos.
I replaced the lifters about a month ago.
Should that PS pump be replaced?

Kinda depends how many miles are on it. Its hard to tell in the vid but it doesnt sound too bad. If you spin it and it makes a grinding/moaning noise then id replace it.

120k on the pump.
No noise other than what you hear.

Save your money then, I'd wait till you are leaking some PS fluid.

Yeah, that sounds like a plan. But you know how it is. I will have the PS pump off anyway doing this job so...

Does it groan when you turn the steering wheel? That would have been a better video to show us.

The power steering was not the intent of the the teardown to begin with. If it had been I certainly would have focused on it.
The reason for the vids was for the timing chain noise which is what I initially showed.
The power steering portion was just something I noticed while tearing it down for the timing chain replacement, hence the questions about the noise from the PS pump.

If you can recall the PS pump being relatively quiet when turning the wheel (and before you pulled off the belt), then there is no reason to change it.

Everything has gone well today up untill the last couple of hours.

I got the new chains on and everything seemed to be lined up fine. But when I rotated the engine by hand after two revolutions the marks on both the cams are 1 tooth off. I didn't feel any resistance or anything weird while turning the engine but I am concerned about this.

Don't worry. Its going to take a lot of revolutions before the marks line up. Its the same thing with the 3.6 pentastar engine.
