I put front and rear led turn signal units in my 2000 Dakota and now have the fast blinking issue. How do I slow the blinking down to original factory sequence?

You'll need to install LED flasher modules or LED load resistors.

Thanks for the replies. Each LED module came with load resistors and they were installed with the modules according to the instructions. I did not remove the factory flasher.
Big Texan-what is the device you mentioned?
I have LED bulbs to replace the fog light and head light bulbs which I have not installed yet and they came with resistors but in use they will not blink, hopefully.

The old style bulbs work great why replace them if the LED cause you problems

That is the factory replacement flasher for LEDs, allows the use of LED turn signals without the hyper flash

LED in headlights and fog lights I agree, bad idea. HID or Halogen is they way to go. LED is not enough in the time to be useful as a headlight

I dont know if they make anything out there for dakota in headlight setups that are good but as far as led's they are a good source of light. Me and about 10 other buddies run offroad led lights that put out awesome light! I also used to run hid's in my dakota which offered a great light output.

A projector retro fit is the way to go. I have 55watt HID in the heads and 35 in the fogs. Extremely bright along with the 55watt retro fit Hellas I have. As for drop in LED bulbs, they do not focus light the correct way, so you get hot spots and the focus of the beam is way out of whack. Off road lights are designed for the LEDs they put in, headlights housings are not there yet with being designed for LEDs with the exception of a few companies

My bad. The replacement lights I have for the headlights and fog lights are HID.
Thanks to all of you for the good info,
