2.5 cooling fan not kicking on
hey everyone, im still around, my 2.5 in terms of my last rebuild, the engine runs perfectly fine, with exception of a new problem that has arose....
a couple days ago, my radiator blew apart, the top exploded and it blew the radiator fan into the engine...
i located a brand new radiator, put everything back together, and noticed my fan doesnt want to kick on, thinking it may be the relay, i swapped out with the AC relay and No Go..... So i find another fan with just wire ends from like a honda..... plug it in place, even flip the wires around, and Nothing happens....
all i am seeing is the relay and thats about it.... what switches the fan on and off...

On our 2.5 Dakotas two things is my understanding the water temp sensor and the A/C by the PCM.
Check the water temp sensor or just buy a new one and see if that is the Fix.
If not you have another problem is the fan ok?
I forget what year is your Dak?

water temp sensor is new, should be good, but i can swap it in case
the relay isnt the problem and Either i have 2 bad fans OR something else is bad

check the fuse for the fan. I don't know what number it is but i think it's a 30 amp one.
