Thanks for the link
Well I did my homework and I found out not only did he not replace it, the receipt That I left in the truck that I couldn't find he tried to return the "new heater core" to the store near him. I called and asked if anyone tried to return a heater core in the past few days and the guy said yes, and they wouldnt give him cash to due the recepit showed CC being used as payment.
I described the "repair" guy and the guy at the auto parts store said that was him, down to the tattoos on his hand and neck.
So I called the Police and I have to go down tomorrow to file a report, they said I have a case against him for fraud(not doing the work that he was hired to do), possiable internet fraud since he advertised on Craigslist and the fact that he tried to return the item That I bought and paid for with my credit card.
He also claimed to be ASE certified and I called the state and he only took the test, never was given any license.
Boy do I feel like a idiot

Well I flushed teh heater core today both forward and reverse.
The heat isnt cold but isnt warm, a little better then before.
So Im down to could it be a t-stat, but if they are bad doesnt the truck overheat?
Or could it be a mystery?
Also that smell that was there when i bought it from a mouse dying in the dash is back and just as bad as before after flushing the heater core??

I'm thinking the mouse was in the vents, because it gets worse when you have the "heat" on and the air is blowing.
I don't think a mouse could get into this famous hvac box since its sealed up like Fort knock.
So I should be able to remove the dash and look around with out having to get into to the Hvac box?
That's something I can handle.

A mouse can most definitely get into the HVAC box. It isn't sealed as tight as you think. The inlet is under the cowl (likely entrance) or it went in through one of the vents (less likely).
I know I sound negative but I don't think you'll be able to do much of anything without actually pulling the plenum.
