Hey guys need some help. I have a 01 dakota 4.7 that won't start. Ran just fine until one day I got in it started up just fine drove about a foot and then it just died. Everything works in the truck except fuel pump and Guage cluster. Has a good fuel pump in it. Could really use some help guys. Thanks for any response.
Ok getting .4 volts to the camshaft sensor and .6 volts to the crankshaft sensor. Running out of ideas. I have a PCM out of a 01 Durango if that would work on a dakota?
While measuring any one of the 5v sensors, go through and unplug each sensor one at a time. If you unplug a sensor and get your 5v reference back, then you found the shorted sensor.
