5.9 pcm...yes again !
so im still running me 5.2 pcm on my 5.9 swapped dak.
3 week ago i tried someone 5.9 RT original pcm and WOW its like comparing a civic to a ferrari...
from a stop flooring it no brake it will break loose rear tire to second gear.
so now i know that the 5.9 pcm make such a difference.
but since the last 3 months i tried to get a 5.9 dak/durango pcm with no luck.
i ordered 4 and none was working right. 2 ebay and 2 from KNOWN online supplier.
they refunded the pcm itself as they were all defective
all 4 were returned , making me lose about 500$ because of shipping ( to me and back to them ).
i'm just done with those PCM and cant find any.
i know everyone had great experience buying pcm but its not my case.
what are my options ? a RAM pcm and dont give a **** about cluster ?
ram pcm with electronic modules ( airbag bcm cluster and other ) from the ram and swap everything ?
find a old 318/360 in a junkyard and swap everything to CARB ? ( not really my #1 option but that would get rid of every problems , even for future performance upgrade )
bigger injectors ?
with all the money lost with those PCM i cant afford pricey option like standalone or whatever.

but what would be the cost.... thats my real concern with reflashing. i live in canada so it have to cross border and there is a huge scam. last time i sent somethign to US , it cost me 40$ for shipping and they charged me 90 for customs fee and the part itself was worth 120$.
He has several customers in Canada. The SCT handheld goes across the border once and everything else is done by email and your handy use of a laptop.
The $500 you lost on shipping PCM's would well more than have covered the cost of getting a custom tune made, much less just having a 'can tune' made for the 5.2/5.9 conversion programming.

Get a hold of Ryan. He prices everything privately. The SCT tuner is the most expensive part, but he can send it to you ready to go out of the box, just plug into the truck and upload the file.
