Update On New PCM
Hard to explain, it looks like it got real hot just in the middle PCM plug head. All the pin connectors (all but 2) broke off with hardly any effort, brittle like. And I guess I meant I would just be replacing just the middle plug in not all 3 so I misspoke sorry about that.
I could have told you that you were in for a disaster when you opened the connector. They are practically impossible to reassemble once opened. I tried to do it off the truck, couldn't imagine doing it on the truck.
Replace the plastic part, just re-pin it. Replace the contacts you need to. (the ones that break....) There is a cool little tool that makes popping them out quick and easy. (comes with the connector repair kit.)
I wonder if thoes plug housings are a dealer item, tried my 2 local parts stores and they don't carry anything, just the individual pin terminals.
Don't really want to mess with dealerships anymore but.....

Looks like you can get 'em on ebay. May have to buy all three... but, they are out there. There are also companies that sell them, but, minimum order is 1500...... I don't think you need that many.
If you can get one from the yard, that is in good shape, probably only be a couple bucks there.

LOL. I bet I was lookin' at the same thing.
I wouldn't splice though, repin the connector. Just swap 'em for yours, to the new one. Less chance of introducing interesting electrical gremlins that way.
