also another question the VSS the little cone shaped i guess adapter that goes into the the transmission is it supposed to have a gear that goes on the transmission gear shaft it seems that magnetic piece on the end of the sensor is too far away from the output shaft gear maybe?

Is there a gear, or a tone ring on the output shaft? The gears are usually plastic......

i do believe i have found the answer after much searching i found out there is no tone ring in the output shaft im guessing someone put bigger tires and forgot to put the original back in now im on the hunt for the speedometer pinion for the output shaft
