Default 97 Dodge Dakota Issues

Hi, Y'all first time posting here i have been scouring the internet and my chiltons manual for a fix for this truck so heres the issue. I have no speedometer, or odometer and the check engine, abs and brake light are on. I have replace both the VSS and the ABS sensor in the differential and it made no difference. I cannot locate the ABS module for this truck i have looked just about everywhere and cant find it. This is very frustrating as i dont have any clue to find it any help would be appreciated thanks.

See if you are getting 5 volts TO the VSS.

The ABS module should be located near the brake master cylinder. You'll have it on top of the pump if 4 wheel ABS and by the valve assembly if RWAL.

They do need to be programmed to the truck.

From left to right, it goes Master Cylinder, proportioning valve, dump valve. (the abs valve.) You have rear wheel abs only.

On yours, those are driven by the ABS. I *think* you can do a cluster test, by holding in the trip/reset button, and turning the ignition to "on". The cluster will turn on all the lights, and sweep all the gauges. See if the speedo moves.

yes sir the speedo does move so its not a cluster problem the VSS itself the ground is good the orange and white wire is sending 10 to 12 volts as well as the the other wire not the ground which seems weird as it supposed to be 5 volts no?
