Would this mark, theres 2,..that goes all the way across the balancer be the correct one to put to TDC..as on pic .
I see a half mark but it might be for the key fit.I know its important to have it lined up an mark things before I get timing cover off
Of coarse I still have to get off that balancer .
[a pain].thanks
thanks

Ok I thought so but best to ask..
Got pulley off but not bolt
Whats the best way to turn that bolt out ,an counterclockwise an not turn the balancer ?
Wedge it ?. I see 2 other holes that are bigger than the 6 bolt holes. Is there a tool to use?
I tried the 2 bolt back wedge an a cheater bar on 1,25 socket, but it still wont break.

This cheap old impact is still one of my favorite tools. Done enough lug nuts, lawn tractor drive bolts, etc. to pay for itself ten times over. Not the most powerful thing but I've never had it falter either.

Yes Ill have to get a air tool .My little one isnt gonna be strong enough .
I guess ill leave the bolts in that position to help block the entire balancer from turning
My compressor goes up to 100 psi[ yep that harbor freight pancake one] ,will that be plenty ?.Yea ill likely look at that one in your pic or similar. But I think a air tool may give more power as you said.
I put pb blaster all over it yesterday but doubt it will get way inside threads.
I saw tools used to hold it in place too but not sure which works on dodge i bet theres a simple way to throw things together an make one.
Many foreign cars got a tool just for this ..
