What’s the possibility of a 2 fuel pump getting ready to go bad in less than a year or is ther something else I should be checking but if I have no fuel pressure at the fuel rail schrader valve then it is the fuel pump correct ?

Assuming the pump is getting power, and has a good ground, yep.
What brand pumps are you installing??? If you are buying the cheap parts store fellers, yeah, lasting a year is actually pretty good....

I got a carter off of Rockauto.com, been installed for 2~2.5 years now??? still going strong. I did have a good drop in mpg's after the install (1.5ish) and tried to get that back with tuning but did not succeed. Ended up swapping injectors to the 12 hole versions for the 4.7 + a 2003 intake manifold and motored on.
