RE: remote starter not workin right
Alright well first off, you got ignition 2 and accessory mixed up. Also, your truck has a 3rd ignition wire you must power up for it to start. You'll need to use a relay to do this. And starter is Blue/Yellow. They switched this in 2000. It should go like this.
12V constant - Pink/Black
Starter - Blue/Yellow
Ignition - Dark Blue
Second Ignition - Black/Orange
Third Ignition - Green/Red
Accessory - Black/White
Flip those 2 wires around and power up that third ignition and fix the starter wire andyou should be all set.

Well you defiantly have those ignition and acc wires switched, and you NEED to power up that 3rd ignition for it to run, so you're gonna have to fix those somwhere. How large is the yellow wire you are hooked to? It should be the same size as the ignition and constant wires and such. It should be a large, lighter blue wire with a yellow stripe.

k new info..apparently the hood pin was grounded during startup. so that fixes teh flashin light prob. Now...it's trying to start...but no crank. I hear teh relays switching in teh fuse box and teh module buzzes..so I'm assuming that blue/yellow wire is the prob...but i cant find it :\
