RE: remote starter not workin right
If Yellow is starter, then you have a 2001. Or some in between model or something lol.
Also, like I said earlier, those bulldog ones wontcrank if you don't hook up all the wires needed. So make sure you dont not have something hooked up like parking lights, ect. If it were me I would scrap the BullCrap starter and geta better brand anyway but... It's up to you.

I don't know where you're getting your wiring information, but our database at work says Blue/yellow for 2000. Even go check the site that made your starter www.bulldogsecurity.com It says the same thing.
The thing with the bulldogs (some of them) is say you didn't hook up the parking lights. It would not send current through the starter wire. It's a safetly feature so you don't leave wires with current on them laying all over under the dash. The crappy VIP ones are the same way. You can't even use the V.I.P. oneson the new Canyons/Colorados and stuff. Because they don't use a starter wire period on that truck, when you power the 2 ignition wires, the truck cranks automatically, butif you don't connect the starter wire to anything on the remote starter, it won't even power up the ignition wires. It knows you didnt connect it and won't work like that. They suck. lol

LOL. Wow how i love my luck. So for the past month I've been trying to contact bulldog security, and got nothing. So i contacted the credit card company to hold charges from that company, and I sent bulldog a letter. Today it got returned to me with an "out of business" stamp on it. Unbelievable. a little less than 2 weeks after I got the darn starter module, I called them and I kept getting messages saying they're closed when the darn recording says they are open. I have excellent timing, that's for sure.

Have you seen this??
"If your unit is clicking on and off and flashing the parking lights...
"If your unit is clicking on and off and flashing the parking lights...
"if you have a 4 BUTTON REMOTE CONTROL:
You will need to take the unit out of safety mode, to do this you will
need to ground the hood pin switch wire, then put your foot on the brake,
next hit any button on the remote and the clicking will stop. Then you will
need to take the hood pin switch wire off of ground and take your foot off
of the brake and see if the remote will work with the unit

That's from the Bulldog website. Is that what yours is doing?
