I think that second "hello" was a boo-boo.
Check the alignment of the wheels on the trailer. Check all tires (Durango AND trailer) and make sure they are at the recommended pressures. Also, if your anti-sway bar has something to increase/decrease the tension, you may want to increase it to get rid of the trailer sway.
How are you loading your trailer? Do you put everything towards the front?
I tow a 26ft travel trailer, as well, and do not experience trailer sway unless it is really windy.

I just towed my boat for the first time behind my 2005 Durango (5.7 w AWD).
The boat is a 26' center console with twin 200/s and hard t-top. Boat and trailer weigh about 8500#.
The tow was great--as good or better than my 2002 RAM 1500 quad cab. The Durango mileage with the 5.7 was around 12 per the trip computer. My RAM was being nice to me if I got 7-8 mpg towing same boat.
There was no sway and I dont have the load levelr torsion bars--just the factory hitch and heavy duty draw bar.
My concern was stopping. The Durango brakes don't do as well as the RAM did or the Ford F150 I had before that. I'm going to upgrade the trailer brakes and that will solve that problems.
I feel like the Durango is goin g to be a great vehicle---I'm really pleased with the choice.

sbtadt: You are not putting enough weight on the tongue, and is leading to your trailer sway. Read this article, and note the section marked "Trailer Loading".

I'm not sure who told you put the heaviest stuff over the axle, but that was bad advice. When I bought our TT, we were told (and I had also read it somewhere, as well) to load to the front of the TT.
Here's another article about proper loading, and how to get the tongue weight (to avoid overloading the tongue).
