Reading through...wow.
Look at it this way...you spend 300 bucks or so for a mod that helps you out at about 3whp. WOW! You are getting up there in the horsepower...so exciting? Then you spend extra money to get a huge exhaust and takes that 3whp(which cost you a lot of money). Whats the point? To have your car sound sweet??? I saw a honda civic with dual exhaust tips that HAD to have been custom because they were bigger that a softball. I didn't think, "wow, what a sweet car." I thought, "Wow, what an idiot who has no idea what he is doing." I get the same feeling when I see a huge spoiler on a car. It probably throws the downforce way off haha. I'm not calling anyone here an idiot btw haha. If you bought the 3" exhaust then oh well...not much you can do.
20Dodge, depending on your mods you miiiight have 150HP but you aren't even close to 150WHP. WHP is what spikey is talking about. Right out of 03neons mouth, "HP is irrelevant."
I just don't see why you would buy all of these performance mods and then say that loosing a few whp from a big exhaust isn't a big deal.

Like I saysome arent into go andjust show like me .I like a nice lookin and soundin exhaust . I mean what exhaust is good for performance wise for us anyways we all just have little neons in reality.

When ya decide what ya wanna do, let me know how much do you want for the exhaust if you sell it. Im very interested in an exhaust like that.

I just now saw that there was a few more pages. So maybe thats why. The 3" exhaust is losing power on the lower end, sure, but as i indicated before, it wont be losing power at the upper end, which is where the neon does great anyways....in my experience with the neon, its not superfast, nor is it super slow, its a cute quick car, with some cunning looks when modded correctly. I love the look of a clean 4" dual exhaust, i might even go to some 3" tips, not sure, but i love dual exhaust,. and i love loud sounds, just plain and simple....i dont think the exhaust is a completely let down either, everyone thinks its all loss...your gaining upper end hp with it, and increasing the look and sound DRAMATICALLY....just cause you have big exhasut, doesnt mean you dont know what your doing..its preferance...but i agree, any honda is an idiot...hhaha j/k....but unless i read ya wrong, didnt sense a genuine post from you...and if u want to join in the convo, just let us have ur input, but it doesnt need to be critical...

Yeah, I totally agree 20dodge. I said before, I only read the first page when I posted the first time. So What I posted was with what everyone else was saying. The only thing I really added was the civic story. Everything else was pretty much said. I was just adding to it haha. I didn't see the multiple pages when I posted so I thought I was with everyone else. When I came back to see that someone posted after me I noticed mine was on the 3rd page so I missed a lot. Also, I could have said its just my opinion on what I think about the whole thing. I didn't attack anyone or say anything that hadn't already been said. I just came in at the wrong time and was all confused lol. 20Dodge, you are right. My post wasn't relevant to this point in the convo. But where I thought it was going to be posted it was relevant. Sorry guys. I will check harder next time.
