Why not install a bypass valve? AEM makes them in different diameters. Unfortunately it's almost as much as a CAI costs on ebay, but it's better than water in your engine.

If you install a bypass valve you might as well not install a CAI, if your that concerned with the slim chance of hydrolock just get a short ram intake or just purchase a K&N drop-in filter.

If you're going to put a bypass valve on, you might as well go back to stock. It's going to choke your chicken. Lol.

My new rims don't let my CAI clear. Damn you heavy useless srt rims! [&:]

How so? The CAI doesnt even come close to the wheels since it behind the splash guard...

I'm assuming you mean that the bypass valve just lets in hot air and defeats the purpose of CAI? Cause by the way they look, they don't restrict air flow.

What? I have a splashguard on my passenger side, but my driver side doesn't have one. And it DOES rub nasty. I can't even drive it at all or reverse. My freaking viper seats are hurting my back too. It feels crooked. I kind of regret trading it now.

If you want to keep adding uneven components to the intake system you go right ahead, tell me how that work out for you...

Guess lol. Ebay FTMFW! It sits kinda where my fog light would go. Do you know where i can order another splashguard? All i find are mudflaps, haha.

Yeah but these vipers feel uneven and it's hurting my back. [&:] I was playing around with some washers yesterday trying to get the damn thing comfortable but to no luck. The first day I got them i was like WOW THEY'RE GREAT and then the second day my back started hurting and kinda still does. They're so uncomfortable...
