racing muffler or rt exhaust
does anyone know where I could get step by step instructions for putting on the rt exhaust and can I void the adaptor. I got nothing against big mufflers I have a dtm loud muffler on my 96.
You should not need an adaptor...if you just have the rear section all you should have to do is take the two bolts I believe it is right by the rear suspension, take your stock muffler off the hangers, hang the rt section on, put exhaust gasket (sp?) back and bolt it back up and you're good to go. Its really easy, you should be able to do it in 15-30 minutes if you're good at taking stuff apart.
As far as I know the SXT and R/T have the same sized piping, it should of directly bolted up without any adapter. However, I haven't don it myself so i could be wrong...glad to hear you got it on your car okay.
nothing looks better than dual exhaust out the rear of a neon
mine sounds sweet.
and nothing in town sounds like mine.
all my friend know when im pulling up to the strip
a sh** can dosent look the same, or sound the same.
i would go with the duals.
there are like only three other cars here that have duals,
and thay are sh** cans.
the only thing with this is, you have twice the sh** sound
