when you lower your car usually the springs are stiffer.... lowring your car is to help with body lean and sway in the corners, it improves responsiveness by a lot, and gives the car a nice tighter feeling, just give it a try and you will understand 100% i put different springs on my car and the handling improved soo much, so give it a try before you try pulling facts from the air. and for 160$ what else would i want for my car? 160$ is dirt cheap, especially wen im 17 living at home for free and making 22$ an hour. and if you lived anywhere near me and if you have your stock suspension, id ask you to follow me and see if you could keep up, i gaurantee you would fall behind.

Haha, 03neonRT. Neon straight away racing is a fun sport of point and laugh! Actually FWD cars can get some serious go.

ya know i was just reading everything on this post, and personaly people have there own oppinions on everything, and for some people to talk **** on other peoples likes and dislikes.....it is his car, and all he wanted to to find out what people thought, and not get into an argument over something he was just looking for oppions on. all i can say is that it is ur car swimmer07, so do what u think it best for u!!!! **** the rest of the people that talk ****,

everyone that has neons really dont run with them on anyways just incertain places and parking lots and with your ride the way it looksyou should go to some shows and night shows next yr.

If I remember right you weren't going to do the springs because of your area? Have you thought about doing anything else to your car?

Um if you look at my name and what im soon to be getting, that little word called SRT-4, yea thats a car with GO and a car that has a lot of potential for a lot of GO my ACR is just a cruise around car for now until winter is over. So just keep your mouth shut because you have no idea...[sm=icon_rofl.gif]

Your car already has a lot of horsepower lol. You could save money and add a turbo and you would be making more HP than an SRT-4. ACRs have some power. A turbo would cost you anywhere from 1500-5000 depending on what you would do. That would make you more power or just as much as an SRT-4 and it would be cheaper. Just my opinion though. Maybe you like how the SRT-4 just looks or something. I know I love how it looks lol.

Yea they do have some pretty good go for a stock neon, i know people around here are suprised when i beat them..lol. i was going to do an srt swap in my car, but i just dont have the time so im going to buy an srt-4 i love the look of them, and to put a turbo on my car i dont wanna be rebuilding my engine, again no time, if i had time i would love to have a 1st gen ACR that i could run with the white srt-4 acr in town here.
