Default three inch drop wanted

hey everyone. just wanted to know about dropping my car another inch or two. currently at two inches lower. since im back on my stock sxt rims again, i want to tuck the tires a little bit. i know the sxt only has a total of around three inches of travel but if i cut the foam bump stops on the struts and cut one coil from each spring, will that work?? my springs are currently rated at 230 lbs front/ 200 lbs rear. let me know if this is possible. if not, how else can i achieve this 3-4 inch total drop. thanks.

bag it. thats the only way i can think for you to be able to tuck your neon. plus that way you can adjust it so you can actually drive the car.

DO NOT CUT THE COILS!!! you'd only be asking for trouble if you do. Just bag it. it's the only way you can achive a 3 inch drop.

1st gen Skunk2 springs will drop you about the 3" you are looking for, had mine on for over a year and love them. I think neon chick has them and ended up putting a 1" spacer cuz they where a little to low for her. On level ground mine sits 3 - 3 1/2" ground to frame.

i just looked at those skunk2 springs along with some other brands and i noticed that the springs are different enough to maybe posing a problem setting in my struts. are there any mods needed to get those first gen springs in a second gen strut??
