Default Ground Problems

Anyone else have problem with flashing lights???? All the lights in my car seem to flicker when i am driving the only thing that seems to work fine is the stero. I was told it was a ground problem anyone know where i might find the ground that is causing the problem?? There is a **** lot full and i cant find a ground post list anywhere to start checking. Any guesses would be welcome.

Have you done any recent motifications, if so you might want to look in the area that you did the motifications for any pinched wires or any wires that could possibly be hitting any metal that could have bare wires exposed. or make sure that all you ground wires are tight and touching metal.[sm=icon_rock.gif]

The only thing that I would suggest if it were me. I would take the radio out and see what happens.

Looks like i might have hitG203 when i took off the trim around the cd player when i put my own deck in. Did alittle more work (got a full eletrical diagram book for the car, got to love the free stuff on the net) nope its that or might be G102 under the hood. Hope one of them fixes it.

The wd won't last for ever. take a wire brush tot he ground screws and the piece of metal that they screw into. to get a evern better ground.

WHat Kaish said, the WD will wash out.. more importantly, WD-40 is pretty resistant to electricity, unlike dirty water, metal, etc. Disassemble the ring terminals, sand all of them and the spot on your car that they are bolted to, and sand/replace the bolt if necessary as well. When you re-attach everything, I HIGHLY recommend picking up a $2 of electrical grease... coat all that stuff with it while you're putting it back together, and it should last a REALLY long time.
