Every 250 miles or weekly:
check the engine oil level
check the engine coolant level
check the windshield washer fluid level
check the brake and clutch fluid level
check the tires and tire pressures
check the automatic fluid level
check the power steering fluid level
check operation of all lights
check horn
Every 3,000 miles or 3 months:
change the engine oil
Every 7,500 miles or 6 months:
check and clean the battery and terminals
check the cooling system hoses and connections for leaks and damage
check the condition of all underhood hoses and connections
check the wiper blade condition
rotate the tires
check for freeplay in the steering linkage and balljoints
check the driveaxle boots and the suspention components
check the exhaust pipes and hangers
check the transaxle lubricant level
Every 15,000 miles or 12 months:
check the brake system
check the fuel system hoses and connections for leaks and damage
check the drivebelts and adjust if necessary
Every 30,000 miles or 24 months:
Lubricate the body hinges and locks
replace the air filter element and the PCV filter
change the automatic fluid and filter
drain and replace the engine coolant
check the fuel evaporative emission control system and hoses
replace the spark plugs
Every 60,000 miles or 48 months:
Change the brake fluid by bleeding the complete system until the fluid being bled is clear
replace the drivebelts
replace the spark plug wires
check and replace if necessary the PCV valve
Every 90,000 miles or 72 months:
replace the timing belt

if you change your spark plugs every year you should pretty much shoot yourself in the face
They should at least be regaped every 10,000, even tho its much easyer and better peice of mind just to change all of them for 6 bucks
plug wires could possibly make it to 100,000 since high temps and current wear tend to harden the insulator. Consequently, breakdown is almost inevitable.
EDIT
you could also add o2 senors every 50K

yea i have been reading up on the manuel so i thought some people should know...about the spark plugs its reasonable to change them every year if you want a safe performing engine.
BTW its every 30,000 miles or 24 months(2 years)
i change mine every year though cause i have to keep a performance type engine
