Default Catalytic Converter

I put a header on my car when i replaced my engine, the mechanic pulled off my catalytic converter when he did this, the header came with a pipe that holds the second 02 sensor, so do i need the converter to pass inspection???? I need to know soon cuz my inspection is coming up next month

If you need one I have one sitting around. It's in good condition and has the gasket with it.

So he took it off, did he keep it or did you take it with you? If he took it i would go back down to that sob and get it back, he probly sold it to make a few bucks.

If he doesn't have it, he owes you one. He had no right to take your original cat.
