Default my neons progress

Hi everyone, I'm new here and after browsing these forums a bit, i decided to post pics of the progression of my neon... What happened was I needed to get a car to save gas as the prices were ridiculous (and my other ride is a lifted 4X4) so i picked up a neon for only 2500

i wasn't planning on tricking it out or anything but as things started to happen (found some REEALLY cheap parts on craigslist/stock rims were bent + needed new tires), i ended up putting on some "cosmetic" after market parts

anyways, here's the progress of my neon

this is how it looked when i first got it (these are the pics the seller posted on craigslist)... already had aftermarket headlights

my rims were actually bent (2 of them) and my hubcaps kepts coming off and my tires started to wear really badly sooo, i used it as an excuse to get some new rims... and some new tails Also i painted the wing to match the car

NICE!!! I love it so far! Awesome rims and wing. At first I thought you were keeping it gray, but then you painted it white so that kept me from complaining lol.
I also love the smiley faces on your license plate. lol
And what did you drop the car on? It looks like you lowered it.
And do you have curtains in the car's windows?!?! I've never seen that before lol.

You should debadge and remove those side moldings and badges btw.

lol, yah the curtains came with the car but i took it off... my gf thought the curtains were funny and that it seemed kind of weird... needless to say i sanitized the car as soon as i got it...

the rims are 17's and takes up a lot of space so maybe that's why it looks lowered because i haven't lowered it yet... i wanted to, but here in hawaii we have a reconstruction check which is a hassle to pass if you lower your vehicle... i went through a lot of trouble with my lifted truck because of that law

Thanks a lot guys! I'm going to debadge it right after i pick up dinner tonight... never thought about the sidemoldings but i may just do that...

I was also thinking about doing something else to the front but can't decide... i was thinking maybe a new hood or a bumper conversion but i don't want people to get the wrong idea and think i got some muscle under the hood and try to race me lol

car looks good, the headlights need to be tinted i think with some sidemarkers. Other than that, it is a good looking car.

thanks for the input, i always thought a smoked look would be better... is there anyway to get the headlights tinted without completely changing out the lights? also, does it affect the brightness of the lights? thanks again guys

Isn't there a spray or even tint them? Help me out guys. The sidemarkers need to be replaced. The light output shouldn't change too much if done right. One more thing is maybe change the exhaust. The wheels look good, I would say try to see if you can mount your front plate somewhere else.

Hm, that's weird...I put on my 17's and my car stood as high as an SUV. You got lucky with your height lol. I'd say leave the suspension the way it is and save money.
Get yourself some clear side markers.
