Default mopar long block

Alright i talked to an instuctor more about the motor he has. It has 80 miles original on it. He says it's a mopar long block 420a. I was wondering if anyone knew the specs on these motors. I'm wondering if it's gonna be hp like mine or hp like a r/t or better. He's asking 600 but will go cheaper although he won't sell me just the block and head with no internals. Any help would be appreciated. Also will a 2.4s valve cover work on a 2.0?

A long block is not a complete engine.

A complete engine is a complete engine.
A long block is complete up to the heads.
A short block has the bottom end basically, pistons, rings, etc.

As for the small block vs. big block, simply put, size of the block and components. For example, the 351W small block and the 351C big block.
