This guy really hit the nail on the head and after reading this I went back out and did it again. Seems there is a space where the arrow is in the picture in the thread that was wide open on my car and they go on to discuss the flaw in the design and how you should park with the drivers side angled down so the water rolls off.

When you open it up you will see . Buy a tube and spread it all around the edges and make sure everything is sealed tight......not that hard to do. Just got notified about this post this happened to me awhile ago.

It's to the left of the resistor and it's bare metal that's the best I can do but go in there and make sure inch by inch nothing is open this is not to hard to do! Also at the same time make sure you never leave the fresh air duck open........Also check the firewall and add some there too just seal the whole dam thing up is what i did!

I'm sorry, I opened up the hood, and I still can't find the exact spot. (Thought I had it patched, but this giant storm I'm in the middle of right now has proved me wrong unfortunately...)

Anyways, I found two images... maybe you could just drawl an arrow in Paint? Thanks.

EDIT: Here are the links, quite a bit larger here:
One Two

Final edit... image 3... is this the place? I was way wrong on my location.

It's to the left of the resistor in picture two standing in front of the car. I would take a pic but i have to remove everything and it's the middle of the summer here in miami and i'm 52 years old and can't chance getting a heat stroke. I saw that picture and that's how I learned about it. I'll see if I can search around and find that picture of the spot we're talking about but in the meantime make sure you have the fresh air closed. Is it still leaking a lot?

Thanks for the description. It's not a terrible amount of water, just enough to cause concern of loosing my blower motor. I just applied some silicon, I'm waiting on it to set before I try it.
