the only drag to the srt8 challenger is that they no longer come with the 6.1 but if i got one i'd have to buy a used one with the 6.1 and swap in a 727 tqfl. Alright i'm done going off topic i promise.

Call me crazy, but the charger really seems to be lacking. Or rather the car is too heavy. 345hp running 14's?! A neon could do that with 400 in mods. Same times as a 98 4.6L stang. The LS1 is practically a full second faster. If that was not bad enough, it ONLY comes in an auto. EPIC FAIL.

345hp?? what year we talkin and my charger dynos 397 whp..with some minor upgrades.. short ram,tb spacer, full exhaust,(i forgot the brand name) but a chip and it moves but yeah the car is to heavy i think..but its a fun ride and fits 5 full grown people..unlike a neon lol thats why i just took my back seats out..and what neon could lose 2-3 seconds in the 1/4 mile with 400 in mods?

Well your charger is modified, where my comment was from a stock perspective. But while you are here, what times are you running with 397 at the wheels?

Most V8 cars (weight and gears depending) are running very low 13's to high 12's.

Really does not take a lot to get a n/a dohc into 14's.
