Exclamation 2005 neon shakes/chokes in drive or reverse?

recently my car started shaking in drive. lookes like the rpm is jumping a bit too! but as you bring it passed 1000 rpm it stops....
my guess is - ****ty gas?

the car has 95,000. fuel sensor was replaced last year due to car not willing to go past 2000 rpm and shaking like crazy before it would shift to the next gear...

anyone knows anything?

Might be a good idea then, and an even better place to start. Plugs every 30K and wires every 60K (every other plug change). Even if it doesn't fix the problem, the car will sure run a lot better.

My old wires were "mint" too when I checked them physically and with an ohm meter, yet my car would die. Yes, die, from bad wires. They were just worn out. You don't need special tools to change the spark plugs though. You need a ratchet, a 12" extension and a spark plug socket.

No just wait till you get the wires in they may be all your problem is and if your still have problems after you put new wires in than get some ngk plugs. I had the same plugs as yours and they were great. Nice lookin gray sx love the wheels.

Wait for the wires and see what happens.
