hey all

you remember my other two solenoid problems.

well we have the right part, installed it, used gasket cleaner to remove the old gasket from what was remaining, then used gasket maker and put it ontop of where the old solenoid was as an outline.

then we took the solenoid made and outline of gasket maker on the back of that and we put the gasket piece over that maker that we put on the new solenoid.

so now the gasket is attached onto the new solenoid with that maker holding the gasket down.

we put the solenoid ontop of the maker that we put on where the old gasket was (which was outlined with gasket maker)

the car leaked after we tried it but then the Solenoid was tightend down hard and we put new transmission fluid in and NO MORE LEAKING.

the car started to drive and go but it would be very hesitant because their is a part on the engine that is disconnected from the engine that is keeping the car from making a noise.

also my speedometer is beign hesitant.

but the important thing is the car is driving which makes me happy. just want to solve those two problems.

what shall i do?

 

Honestly, this makes no sense. Can you explain it a bit better?

 

Are you talking about the knock sensor? And if your speedo is starting to geek out, check the speed sensor and the wiring.

 

so it turns out its the speed sensor the car drives forward and backward but just hesitates and jumps.

what speed sensor do i need?

input or output?

speedometer doesnt move

The Speed Sensor is installed ( new input/output)

car jolts and hesitates... when you press on the gas it will move.

still wont **** into 2nd gear. all new parts put inside car.

new trans fluid in today too.

what should i do?

 

Take it to Aamco if you have one near you. They'll check it out for free.

 

update put Lucas Transmission Fix in it.

it reverses and drives better but car wont move out of 2nd gear.

 

Dumping additives into the transmission (horrible idea for any area of the car) won't fix a real problem. You are wasting money and getting no where. Take it to a real shop with people who really know what they are doing and ask for their opinion.

 

this is crazy , op makes no sense seriously , theres no way anyone can help you if you dont describe things alot better. what is car has part unplugged from engine that makes engine make noise??????? wtf ?????????
