Yeah. That way the computer fully recognizes the new sensors. Mine does the same thing but I haven't messed with it.

I did that to mine, an had nothing but high idle issues down the road. Esp when the a/c was on or the rad fan during 115 degree out side temp in stop an go traffic.

I did drill the hole in the butterfly years ago, which helped dramatically. Even after I replaced all vac lines, and vac. caps there was still a lower idle.

I turned the screw also, then turned it back after doing more research. Apparently it's not a good idea. Since I drilled a 1/8 hole in the throttle plate, I've been real happy with it. It idles about 700 rpm now when I'm sitting at a stop light, which might be a little high, but at least I don't have that annoying vibration any more.

Default Motor Mounts

Hey Guys couple weeks ago had my passenger side upper and lower mounts replaced since then im still having vibration thru the steering wheel when stopped at a light.

I have no idea or clue how to get rid of the vibration I called mechanic told me to come back I retorqued them same issue.

Its a after market mount so I dont know if that makes a difference

He checked my other mounts and they all seemed fine

Im puzzled and stumped at this point

Ive put brand new plugs gapped @ 35
Brand new wires
Cleaned throttle body
Ive done it all that I can think of.
I dont see any vacuum leaks he even checked for that as well

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

When I bought this vehicle it never had a vibration issue at all so smooth.
Its only got 147 thousand clicks

Is it better to have a OEM Dodge Mount installed would that make a big difference???

I also just recently had to replace the car starter on it new battery and also changed the belts vehicle runs quiet but when @ a stop light the steering just vibrates annoying the heck outta me!

LOL

I like smooth vehicles

Idle is between 600-700 which apparently is fine

I had a PCM update on it as well couple weeks ago for low idle issue and that didnt help it out at all

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I fought with this problem for a while and I ended up going back to OEM mounts (torque struts) and that worked for me. The car idles as smooth as could be now. I know they're more expensive, but I was lucky enough to find some like new at the junk yard.

Sorry for the delay, I've had some problems with my other card that I needed to take car of first. Here is the location of throttle adjustment screw.
