ok the fix is at modernpreformance or jegs!! they make a o2 sensor that is fake and tricks the computer!!!
have not lookeed into prices yet though. and you will really like the headers and downpipe. the only thing i recomened is to heat wrap them, or get them coated as they get extremly hot!! good luck with the install

So if i install headers will i need that 02 sensor, or is it throwing that code because you installed the downpipe??

it is giving the code because i installed the down pipe which removes the cat. if you leave the stock downpipe you will have to xtend it to meet the stock exhaust pipe, which is not that hard. or you could get a down pipe with a high flow cat, which is not that exspensive.

or keep the obx down pipe and get the new ("fake") sensor

hope this helps!

here is a cheap universal one (but i dont know if it is very good):

http://www.o2sensorsimulator.com/?OV...OVMTC=standard

Here is the one jegs sells from the maker (casper electronics) :

https://www.casperselectronics.com/M...Category_Code=

and if you are any good at making circuts and crap here is directions on how to make one:

http://mkiv.com/techarticles/oxygen_sensor_simulator/

i am just going to get the one from casper, dont want to take the risk it does something bad to my computer.

I was wondering, which headers you two were going with, the OBX Race header or OBX header and down pipe? And also what solution proved to work with eliminating the check engine light after the cat was removed?
