I've been lurking around this forum for a few years (since I got my first neon). My name is Arjan van der Hulst, I'm 28, and live in the Netherlands.

I currently have a green Neon (2001). Everything is stock, only think is a matte black wrap. (Which is gonna be removed in the near future, to be replaced by Plasti Dip).

I had 2 neons before this one, both 1st gens.

 

Hey there, I'm Terry, 42, married w/1 kid (daughter 20), electrician, from Lake City, FL but originally from Mass. Got a 01 SE with some basic upgrades like; CAI, MSD coil, Taylor wires, Bosche IR fusion plugs, Kenwood system w/Polk Audio speakers, Energy Suspension bushing kit, after market headlight & tail light units, and on order Option Racing cat back exhaust... It's basically the ole lady's car, but she let's me drive it occasionally, "lol"!!! Tax return upgrades include: header & hi flow cat, 17" wheels, and factory rear spoiler

 

Hello everyone, my name is Cameron Miller, I am 18 years old and live in York, Pennsylvania.
I purchased my 2000 dodge Neon 2 years ago in July of 2010 and have been totally in love with it since! It did have some cosmetic damage like a dent in the passenger side door and also dents in the hood and many scratches which I recently buffed out. I added Euro headlights and I also converted it to look like a 2002 recently! Hopefully getting a paint job soon!

 

Hi my name is Christian I am 18 years old and live in Lynden, Washington. I go to Western Washington University. I currently drive a bone stock 2005 Neon SXT (Just bought it this week). But have a few small mods in mind. Lowering kit, exhaust, and cold air intake.

 

Looking into buying a 2004 Neon sxt. I love the car but it's not currently running. I want to know what it will cost to put this thing back on the road (and make it SAFE to drive) so I can figure out if it is a good investment or not. It's got a bent axle which is the main problem but from that, I would assume, stems more problems such as replacing the tie rod ends, u joint, ball joints, brakes and rotors...? Am I in the ballpark here? Can anybody give me an idea of what I'll be putting into this thing to get it running?

Aside from that it has new struts in the front, new radiator, all new suspension in the back, a sway bar, and a cold air intake. Previous owner took pretty good care of it till he bent the **** out of the axle by hitting a curb(?) full synthetic oil regularly changed, K&N air filter, blah blah blah...

I would appreciate any ideas/opinions/words of wisdom/advice y'all can share with me.

I'm Holger (37) from Saskatoon, Canada. I left 4 years ago Germany with my wife and 2 kids. I'm an Electronic Technician and used to work for Opel (GM) as a maintenance/troubleshooter in a component factory where Diesel Motors where produced (Special field, Assembly line and Dynos). Here in Canada I'm a 3rd year Electrician Apprentice, because the government doesn't accept my German Ticket. Grain elevators and fertilizer storage facilities are now my world (Pioneer, Cargill, Viterra, etc).

After we came here I wanted to buy a German car and my wife got mad. She said:"I didn't come to North America to drive a freakin' German car. I want Horse Power, waste gas and sliding doors". I looked around at all that Chey and Ford crap. And we would never drive a Asian vehicle. If they would be the last ones on the planet, I would saddle a horse and ride to work. So we bought a 2007 Grand Caravan. Half year later I bought my Neon. This year we traded the Van into a brand new fully loaded Grand Caravan Crew.

Since then, we got a crush on Dodge and would never drive something else.

 

Hello everyone, I am Alex Gelina (16), from Park Falls Wisconsin. I own a 2005 Neon SXT, and have added some upgrades to it. Was never really into cars (more into airplanes) until a few years ago, and took some classes worked with some friends and got a pretty basic understanding of things.
