From Maryland...and don't know a dang thang about Dodge Neon's....

 

My name is Frankster, yes I am a lady, I have a 2003 Dodge Neon srt 2.0L that I really need questions answered before I put the money in that people are wanting to charge me after they put a coil pack in and the car was still running rough, I would appreciate all the help I can get ...

 

I just had this issue I changed my upper and lower passenger motor mounts, then it started to run rough after a couple of days of running the best in 4 years. I still need to change the mid passenger mount and the transmission mount, any who I went and changed the ignition coil and plugs and wires, as well as the negative battery terminal end. I need a longer lead from either the fuse box or the starter to change the positive one... She's running smoothly now still I'm gonna replace the idle control valve on the throttle body, I have a feeling it's getting sticky. I just recently rolled 100,000 miles and I'm trying to undo 4 years of damage, that until now I couldn't fix.

I am a total noobie when it comes to smaller 2 Liter cars, especially neons! I have to admit, I kinda like Neons! Anyways, just bought a
2000 Dodge Neon ES. It has its issues, as with any car with est. 200K
miles on it!!! So, with a little basic maintenance here and there, my car could look totally different by next winter and a little help from DodgeForums
One thing I need HELP with is door and paneling of cars, Minnesota driven and rusty...where do I find cheaper replacement parts as my car door and other spots are beyond rusty and in need of replacement..will send pix soon! Where do I find parts at a good price to make sound performance changes to my car?
At some point, I would like to make bigger changes to this lil neon,
it seems to have a pretty solid I4 engine, where do I start first? Intake, cams, ignition, Pistons?? I would like to stay Naturally Aspired as of right now, maybe higher compression?? Working on a budget as well, would like to spend 1.5K to rev it up a little..Any help?@

i have a 2000 dodge neon 2.0sohc. i am useing to race dirt track racing. how can i make faster or what bigger motor will fit. will a srt4 motor work?

Hello to all,

I just purchased a loaded 04 SXT for my daughter a moth or so ago Silver ith chrome factory wheels...123,000 miles. Nice little car but a few annoyances when I first bought it. I did tune-up....and replaced all Coolant hoses.....engine mounts...waterpump and timing belt set.

I daily drive a 2000 Metallic Inferno Red Intrepid R/T...3.5 HO.

I drag race 1/8 mile tracks for my hobby. My race car is a 86 FOX Body Mustang 700Hp.
