Found all this **** in the evaporator coil in my dad's truck this saturday while fixing the blower motor resistor...




Argghh...gotta vacuum all that crap out, even though I know there will still be a ton of **** stuck in the fins. At least it will get some of it out.

 

There's some stuff in pressurized cans made specifically for cleaning evap. coils. Don't know how good it works as I've never used it. Might give it a try after the vacuum treatment and let us know. Be the guinea pig.

 

I looked at that crap. I might try it this summer....


I will likely be pulling my blower and resistor and see what's in mine this week or next.

 

Well I just drove my truck! It likes the highway soooo much more with this 5.9 in it!!! I suggest everyone with a 5.2 switch! So worth it!

i picked up some good quality floor mats for my 81 from a store that is going out of business for $12.

 

Im also jealous. Mine is still on the engine stand awaiting parts and reassembly.

 

Drove it to the Capitol to work today. Legislative schedules were whacked - 10:30 meeting did not start until 1:30. Staggered out after 6, and three guys were standing around Ram in parking garage. They wanted to know what I had in it, then peek under hood. Funny when guys driveing Beamers wanna look at a 2nd Gen Ram!
