It's a shame we're so far apart. Sitting in a box in the garage I have a set of 3.55's for the 60/70 combo that I'll never reuse. Shipping would be brutal though.

Anything over 400hp from a cummins will eventually explode a D70 rear end.
Definitely not giving up the D80 or the p-track just for 355s. only way I would swap or buy em is if it was a D80 with p-track.
now for a gas engine that's a different story. if you have a gasser, by all means go with a D70 as you can build a 500hp motor and not hurt it. but the torque of a cummins is ridiculous at even lower hp levels...
when I still had stock injectors and stock turbo with my fueling box I put down 889tq @ the rear wheels with 362hp. inline motors are torque monsters!
my kids broke mine a couple months ago while out plowing. its not totally broken, but the hinges are just barely hanging on. guess im gonna have to order one from genos garage...
